The latest at Plainview Little League - Spring Intramurals
Mini/Lil’ Hawks
Non-competitive, coed intro to baseball using foam bats and balls to teach basic skills like throwing and batting stance. Enhancements include beanbag catching and beach ball tee hits to boost confidence and engagement.
Boys T-Ball
For Kindergarten-age boys, T-Ball introduces real (sponge-core) baseballs and structured 90-minute sessions. Kids hit off tees, rotate positions, and play non-scoring games with guided coach support throughout.
Boys Clinics
1st grade boys build on T-Ball fundamentals with a mix of practice and non-competitive games featuring coach pitch, transitioning to kid pitch. Tees remain available, and kids rotate through lineups and positions to gain experience.
Boys Rookies
2nd grade boys move toward more advanced play with coach-to-kid pitch progression, catcher roles, and added practice opportunities. Games remain instructional and score-free, with regular position rotation and increased responsibility.
Single A
For 3rd Grade Boys. This is the first year of competitive baseball.
Double A
For 4th Grade Boys. This is competive baseball.
Minors
For 5th Grade Boys. This is competitive baseball.
Majors
For 6th and 7th Grade Boys who are Williamsport eligible. This is the last year of competitive baseball with Plainview Little League.
